The following Early Childhood enrichment programs are concentrated classes focusing on topics that enhance and challenge the child who is ready for more.

Enrichment for 2’s Twice As Much —
This specialty class for 2’s begins after transition has been accomplished in the 2’s preschool program. Themes follow the preschool program, but are expanded upon through science experiments and cooking. Prerequisites: Child must have previous experience in a 2-year-old program setting and has successfully separated from parent. Also must be able to stay on task and behave in a safe way. A Step Beyond For Soon 2 B 3’s —
Please Note: The Early Childhood wing is a nut-free environment.
This new enrichment class is for the older 2 year old that is turning 3 between 9-1-2011 and 1-31-2012. Ms. Karen will follow the basic themes from her Soon 2B3 class, but challenge the children and expand upon many fun areas such as colors, themed activity centers and basic letter and number recognition. Prerequisites: Child must have previous experience in a 2-year-old program or Soon2B3 setting and has successfully separated from parent. Child must be able to stay on task and behave in a safe way. Enrichment for 3’s Rhyme Time Diner —
Calling all 3-year-olds to the diner! Bring a sack lunch and beverage to dine with friends one day a week. After lunch, Miss Kathy creates a fun class centering on learning a new nursery rhyme each week. Art projects, dramatic play and games all add to the excitement of the rhyme! NOTE: If your child’s class ends at 11:15 am, we will see to it that he/she is escorted to this program. WHO: ages 3 yrs. by 9/1/2011 MAX/MIN: 14/7 ID#

Speak Easy Level I for 3s & 4s —
This enrichment class is solely for preschoolers who need some language help. The ELL (English Language Learner) student will bring a sack lunch and dine in a world of words. Miss Elaine’s menu relies on visuals to learn a word and its meaning. It will include a variety of songs, stories and movement to expose students to English vocabulary words. Child must stay on task and behave in a safe way. NOTE: if your child’s class ends at 11:30 am, we will escort him/her to Speak Easy.
