MILES OF SMILES Our guests on location...

Tauck guests travel the world... We just love the great letters, e-mails and photos we receive every day. For more photos, visit our Facebook page at http://www.facebook.com/TauckTravel

60+ years later... Kay and David L. Raybin joined us on Classic Italy, The Tauck Civil War Event, and Romantic Germany – after which they shared an incredibly heartwarming story with us. Following the end of World War II David’s father, an engineer, taught vocational education in Germany for the United Nations. He was stationed in a small city near Munich... David’s mother’s sister was his secretary... and

then he met David’s mother Inge (photos above)... David’s mother accompanied them on Romantic Germany, and together they saw places that comprise the story of his parents’ first meeting. A very special trip back in time for the Raybins!

Why we call it “uncommon access”... Mary Berg took the photo (left) of her mom, Aline Glavin from Rochester, New York. The two chose A Week in... Rome, the Amalfi Coast & Capri as their long-awaited mother / daughter trip in October. A Tauck Exclusive is an after-hours visit to the Vatican Museums – and Aline called her quiet moment “alone” in the Sistine Chapel ”the highlight of my trip.” This is a great example of the impact of Tauck’s “uncommon access” that transforms a trip into an inspiring life experience.

Travels With Twig...

Longtime Tauck travelers Jim and Twig Hickam took their annual “reunion trip” on Iceland – Land of Fire and Ice with a group of friends they had met on previous Tauck trips.

Chase Guttman, teenage photographer The Caldwell family of Florida wrote to us to share their thoughts about a special July departure of our Tauck Bridges trip Costa Rica: Jungles & Rainforests. We brought the professional photography team of Peter Guttman and his teenage son Chase along on the trip to conduct photo workshops and give guests photo tips in one of the world’s most scenic destinations. The Caldwells wrote “I believe the most telling feedback on the week was the next family vacation when our 11-year-old grandson showed up with a nice camera which he had purchased with his own money to try his new photography skills... this new hobby was due to Chase and the interest and focus he showed the young people on the tour.”

“Red Jammers” On Canadian Rockies &

Glacier National Park, we’ve called these touring vehicles a variety of names over the years... the buses are reds... the drivers are jammers because of the sound of the gears... and to us, we see happy Tauck guests!
