Gems from our comment cards

Arthur Tauck still reads every comment from the “Hope & Trust” cards filled out by almost every guest on tour. Over the year, he keeps a list of some of the ones that really made him smile; below are a few favorites:

Ever wonder what the Equator looks like? Henry Blauvelt provided this wonderful photo from Kenya & Tanzania: A Classic Safari – and now we all know that the Equator is, in fact, sign-posted.

Essence of South America – samba school, that is, where you get a behind-the-scenes look at Rio de Janeiro’s amazing Carnaval.

Interesting Traditions Tauck travelers sometimes share interesting traditions with us, like the above photo from a well-traveled bear who keeps a photo diary of Tauck trips...

From the winner of Tauck’s Ken Burns Facebook Contest Linda DiPrete of Rhode Island was the winner of our Ken Burns Facebook Contest; following her return from Spirit of the Desert: The National Parks of the Southwest she shared: “It was my first experience with a Tauck tour and it won’t be my last. I am a real city girl and have been to several big cities in Europe... I came away from this tour realizing that no church or castle can compare to the arches and the canyons... Each park we visited had its own uniqueness... This tour was designed by Ken Burns and Dayton Duncan for Tauck. The vignettes with Ken and Dayton, seen on the bus, set the tone beautifully... The speakers brought in to speak were passionate about their parks... I was so impressed with the locations of our lodgings – we were inside the parks, where independent travelers told us they waited two years to book a reservation... If you choose this trip, a word of advice from this city girl – embrace it all... Ride the raft, take the flightseeing tour, ride the mules, and don’t miss sunrise at Arches...“
