ITALY,

Small Groups Select Departures

Big things really do come in small packages... averaging 24 guests in Italy, you’ll stay in chic smaller hotels, linger longer and sigh louder in Doge’s Palace and the Bridge of Sighs, after hours at the Vatican, the Colosseum...

SICILY: Culture

through the Ages April – June; September, October

Quick, what’s the first thing that comes to mind when you think of Sicily? The Godfather? Yes, but there is so much more here... cathedrals that glitter with riches inside and out... dinner with a principessa at her palazzo.... pastry baking, wine tasting, ceramics making...

We just returned from A Week In... Ireland and Venice and the Dalmatian

Coast. I don’t know what I can say that hasn’t already been said, but... it was just wonderful. The beauty, history, people, venues of the places were phenomenal. The itineraries covered all we hoped for and more. We felt coddled and cared for without a care in the world.

TURKEY,

Land of Contrasts April – June; August – October

Europe meets Asia, past meets present, and Tauck guests get to cruise the Bosphorus, visit a modern cave home, soar over fairy- tale Göreme in a hot air balloon, whirl with the Dervishes, learn how to make the perfect cup of Turkish coffee, travel the Silk Road...

TRY A NEW TASTE OF EUROPE... 12

If you’ve traveled with us before, you know that we really enjoy a good meal... along with a great glass (or two) of wine... and so do our guests. That said, it should come as no surprise that we’re excited about introducing new culinary-themed departures in places acclaimed for their food... and wine. Want to impress your neighbors with your hands-on knowledge of French vintages, cooking – and chocolate? You’ll get all the ingredients on French Waterways & Vineyards. How about preparing the perfect Spanish paella for your family back home (check out Spain and Portugal)... or sharing the secrets of family recipes handed down through generations of home-grown cooks on Italian Lakes, Venice, Florence & Rome. We’re getting hungry just thinking about them...

POMP & CIRCUMSTANCE Those aren’t their names, but judging from the smiles and British flag-hats in Debra Brown’s photo of her visit to Windsor Castle, it sure looks like they’re having a royally good time!

THAT’S AMORE... Our guests love meeting the locals and experiencing a taste of daily life in Italy... and without question, the locals sure seem to love meeting them too!
