Caribbean Challenge

Test yourself on the new Sky Safari’s zip-line tour and discover how many lines you can accomplish.

Did you know?

Christopher Columbus named the island St. Christopher after the patron saint of travellers, and the appellation was eventually shortened to St. Kitts.

Against a backdrop of stunning landscapes, the island of St. Kitts embodies the laid back and gracious charm of the undiscovered Caribbean, offering a wealth of activities and experiences for the visitor. History and culture remain two of its greatest assets which have left a legacy of famous historic sites such as Brimstone Hill Fortress, the only man-made UNESCO World Heritage Site in the Eastern Caribbean and the island’s greatest tourist attraction, the St. Kitts scenic ‘sugar’ railway. St. Kitts is a fascinating island to explore, whether trekking through its lush rainforest, taking an island safari, touring Romney Manor Botanical Gardens, home of Caribelle Batik, or taking a catamaran cruise or fishing trip. For the active, there are high quality scuba dive sites with incredible coral reefs and fish, a world-class 18-hole championship golf course and the island’s new zip-line tour.

There are plenty of traditional holiday pastimes too, such as watersports, shopping, tennis, gourmet dining, or simply relaxing on one of the island’s sandy beaches. Accommodations to suit every style and pocket range from beautifully renovated old sugar plantation houses through luxury beach resorts, mid-range hotels and guest houses to private villas.

Hidden gem

For the best burgers in town, visit the Spice Mill Restaurant at Cockleshell Beach. Against a background of breathtaking sunsets and views, visitors will also find it hard to resist the tempting cocktails on the menu.
