CB STAMPI EXTENDS SNAP-ON CAPS TO UK MARKET

GOOD THINGS COME IN SMALL PACKAGES FOR QUADPACK & ITS REGULA PETIT JAR

Quadpack has tapped into the mini sizes trend with its new Regula Petit Jar, a fully recyclable pack available in two capacities. The thick-walled jar is made of recyclable PET and can also be offered in a recycled version. The cap is PP, which is also recyclable. A lifecycle assessment (LCA) of the product showed that the Regula Petit Jar in recycled PET has a 31% reduction in carbon emissions when compared with the virgin PET version. The pack is offered in two capacities: 15ml and 30ml, making it suitable for lips, eyes and other specific face areas, as well as for on-the-go usage. Quadpack www.quadpack.com

TNT ADDS LUXURY TO JIMMY CHOO’S NEW LIP GLOSS

Jimmy Choo has added a new Lip Gloss to its Seduction Collection with packaging supplied by TNT Group. The caps for the ten satiny shades are made from zamak with a gold e-coating. According to TNT, the dimensions of the spherical cap were the same as for Jimmy Choo’s lipstick case, which it also supplies. The cap is hammered to create texture, while the lower part of the cap simulates a pedestal, designed as a geometric, triangular frieze. TNT Group www.tntgm.com

Finishing touches to create the best first impression

MORRAMA & PPK JOIN FORCES TO LAUNCH MAYA RENEWABLE CELLULOSE REFILLABLES Morrama and packaging manufacturer PPK have collaborated on Maya, a refillable packaging range. All options in the Maya collection come with refills made from renewable cellulose pulp that can be recycled as paper waste at the end of life and are manufactured using renewable energy. The range includes a Lipstick; a Makeup Palette, which comes in ten different sizes; and pots and pumps with a 5% PP/PET lining that’s thin enough not to prevent the bottles from being recyclable as paper waste. April 2023 41

Italy’s CB Stampi is now selling its snap-on cap system in the UK market. The caps’ patented system allows them to fit on a 28/PCO preform, or an HDPE bottle with the same neck. They snap straight on, with no need for twisting and no leakage. This, said CB Stampi, offers almost unlimited flexibility to apply different caps to a single preform, meaning complete product lines with different caps and differently shaped bottles. Previously available only in HDPE, the company is now providing a more cost-effective PET alternative. Over 41 million of the caps have been sold across Europe in 2022. CB Stampi www.cbstampi.it
