Bowl spot launches Mountain Dew’s new “Major Melon” flavour, with


John Cena and his sidekick entering a surreal carnival world of melon


creatures and roller coasters on LA’s Broadway that was transformed into a rich and dreamlike melon land.


STUDIO AKA GODMOTHERED


Studio AKA made seven minutes of feature quality 2D animation to run within the live action Disney+ film, Godmothered. The classic 2D animation used 3D backgrounds for depth with colour, staging and lighting drawing on classic Disney features.


NEXUS STUDIOS WATER AID FILM


Nexus Studios’ director, Neeraja Raj, created this film, The Girl Who Built A Rocket, for WaterAid. It tells the tale of a girl from Madagascar who tries to fly to Mars when she hears water has been found there. The agency was Don’t Panic and sound was by String and Tins.


MAGIC LIGHT, BLUE ZOO PIP AND POSY


Magic Light brought in Blue Zoo to animate pre-school series, Pip and Posy, inspired by the books by Axel Scheffler. The 52x7 minute CG series, made with a stop-motion aesthetic, is showrun by Jeroen Jaspaert, director of Stick Man and The Highway Rat.
