EXECUTIVE HIRE SHOW REVIEW continued

1018 Hatz proves a hit

Hatz GB reported keen interest from hirers in its EU Stage V compliant diesel engines. “We had an excellent Show,” said MD Joe Wilmer. “It was a really positive event, with a good number of visitors in attendance and we have some quality leads to work through.” Models on display included the 3-cylinder 3H50TICD and 4-cylinder

4H50TICD, the latter being a 2-litre engine fitted with a turbocharged intercooler. The H50 series is designed to offer clean running, compact dimensions and easy maintenance. The company also promoted its new E1 technology which utilises electronic controls for

single-cylinder industrial diesel engines, and incorporating an electromagnetic valve specially developed by Hatz in cooperation with Bosch. The control unit continuously measures a range of parameters for optimum running. “The only downside to the Show,” added Joe, “was the fact that we had to say goodbye to

EHN’s Alan Guthrie. Alan is a real gentleman and a stalwart of the hire industry. Everyone at Hatz GB wishes him well for the future.”
