Boxing clever
With more machines now needing to use AdBlue to meet the latest emissions regulations, the Fuelbox bag-in-a-box diesel fuelling system has gained a new addition. Appropriately called the Bluebox, it contains 10 litres of AdBlue in a conveniently sized box with a ‘glug-free’ pouring spout. The boxes stack 12 to a pallet and can be stored for up to 18 months.

Hire Metrics from Rouse Services
Rouse Services provides appraisals and valuations to a growing list of UK clients including several national hirers. Its insights are designed to help hire companies to better understand asset values and optimise their fleets. Rouse chose the Show to launch its new Hire
Metrics Benchmarking service. This has been available in the USA for almost a decade, where Rouse has more than 200 customers using it, representing $50 billion in assets and $20 billion in annual hire revenues. The benchmarking service enables companies to compare their operations against their peers, on key metrics such as fleet age and utilisation rates.

Topcon’s new navigator
Topcon showed the LN-150 layout navigator, which is described as a user-friendly, single-operator solution. Turning on the unit activates both the self-levelling laser and remote control via the Magnet Construct app, which is free to download. Communicating over Wi-Fi means no annual licence fee is required. Its automation makes it a simple product to use for construction
and BIM (building information modelling) layouts. Security features include TS Shield which enables the owner to remotely shut down and lock the instrument if it is stolen.

MHM promoted new environmentally friendly products at the Show, where it also celebrated its 10th anniversary. It officially launched its 950-litre capacity UN-1202 approved Fuel Buddy 950 transportable fuel storage tank, along with a new solar charging kit for its 12V battery powered pump. A towable version is available and the range also includes 2,000 and 3,000-litre tanks. MHM previewed its first solar-only
mobile lighting tower. Designated the Solar ST-9 LED, it has a 9m mast and four LED lights, and is scheduled for launch at the end of this year.
