Bred by Roy Cromie she is by Goldwyn and out of the day’s interbreed champion Desmond Dundee Embrace EX93. She was purchased for €5600 at the Promise of Protein Sale and has stood reserve junior champion at Tydavanet and Virginia Shows as well as second at Millstreet.


Honourable mention in the junior Holstein championship went to the Patton family’s second place in-calf heifer Ards Alexander Tiffany. This two year old heifer by Alexander is out of Ards Winston Tiffany EX92 going back to Stonetown Jub Trish EX93 who was imported from Canada. Due to calve late January to

Galaxy she stood first at the Northern Ireland Calf Show and second at Balmoral. In the maiden heifer class second to the reserve junior champion was Clonpaddin MPW Fanta from Clonpaddin Holsteins. This October 2013-born Atwood daughter is out of the EX92 Applelawn Cousteau Fanta, one of five VG or EX dams. Sam and John McCormick’s Hilltara Windbrook Dawn stood second in the junior heifer in milk class. Scored VG87 she is out of Hilltara Jasper Dawn.


In the intermediate heifer class David and Kenny Boyd’s Glaslough Miss Persia stood second, calved in August she was second and honourable mention at Millstreet. Sired by Mr Minister she is out of Glaslough Lyster
