Flashouse dispersal The fi rst day of Messrs Booth’s Flashouse dispersal attracted more than 200 people on farm at Penistone, West Yorkshire, with a smaller, but equally determined crowd on the second day. The sale was arranged in under three weeks due to the result of selling the farm.

The dispersal achieved a top price of 2300gns twice for fresh cows, fi rst up was Flashouse Talent Teda. This late October calving Talent daughter was giving 38kg at the time of sale. She sold to John Allan from the Leaventhorpe herd who also secured a further 11 cattle including another 2300gns bid for Flashouse Seaver Alice, an autumn calver giving 36kg.
