Captivating the younger generation


No doubt, the use of electronic devices and video games represent great competition for amusement parks when it comes to captivating and attracting the attention of children, adolescents and young people who are increasingly immersed in the world of technology. Theme parks will have to utilise this new technology to keep up, Astrid González Nariño reports.

wo Latin American parks have introduced new and innovative ways to capture the attention of young people, utilising what new technology has to offer.


Granja de las Americas (Mexico) To this end, Granja de las Americas (Farm of the Americas), a theme park located in Mexico City, recently decided to incorporate a new technological element to attract the younger generation. It is a 4D film experience, through which visitors will be able to appreciate the content which is about the care of nature, the environment and natural resources. This new 4D experience was opened three weeks ago,


and fits well within the theme of the entire park, which is dedicated to generating experiences of awareness related to the need to care for and respect the environment.
