Wood Express – created by Gravity Group. Intended to be an attraction for the whole


family, Parc Saint Paul and Gravity Group designed Wood Express around the park’s available ground space, creating an “out and back” layout with a height restriction of 1.10m. The investment is the biggest in the park’s history at a cost of 3m Euros, and features a 12 passenger Timberliner Train,

arc Saint Paul have announced the development of a new family ride –


built by Gravitykraft Corporation, which takes riders through 13 moments of airtime at a maximum speed of 61 km/h. "We met the Gravity Group for the


first time during the EAS show in Paris in 2013," said operations manager Etienne Montecchio. "We were very interested by the work they've made for the Wooden warrior at Quassy amusement park in United States and later for Roar O Saurus still in USA."


Wood Express is scheduled to open at the beginning of July.


Realfiction and LEGO test out mixed reality display


Realfiction Holding AB has installed one of its DeepFrame mixed reality displays at the LEGO headquarters in Denmark. The DeepFrame platform, which allows for mixed reality experiences without special glasses, will be evaluated over a two-week period. The first DeepFrame product was


recently awarded the “CES 2018 Innovation Awards Honoree” title, and could allow users to experience human- sized LEGO characters. Realfiction aims to implement DeepFrame in amusement parks, visitor centres, museums, showrooms, and experiential retail. The DeepFrame project is partly financed by a grant from the Danish Market Development Fund.


Nerang prepares to welcome Australian Legend World as part of Road & Belt Initiative


At a cost of $400m, Australian Legend World has been listed as one of 40 major projects by the Chinese Ministry of Culture. The announcement is part of the country’s Belt and Road initiative, which was implemented in 2013 by the Chinese Government to build infrastructure to and from Asia, Europe, and Africa. Australian Legend World, described as a “key cultural trade and investment project” by the Chinese Ministry of Culture, will house an indoor ski field and housing for up to 2,000 residents.
