nder the leadership of IGT Incoming CEO Hector Fernandez, and the theme “TOGTHER – Built to Win,” IGT leveraged ICE Barcelona as an opportunity to connect with its global customers, present a robust suite of products and solutions, and demonstrate its renewed focus and strategic differentiators. “ICE Barcelona was a highly productive event for IGT,” said Fernandez. “It was our first global trade show since I joined the company in December, and I was able to connect with our customers to exchange ideas and collect valuable feedback on their priorities and long-term objectives. Our customers were particularly impressed with our innovative RISE cabinets, localized multi-level progressive content for land-based and digital opportunities, and the potential for an integrated systems and FinTech offering.”
IGT’s stand featured more than 100 electronic gaming machines (EGMs) and showcased a curated collection of games, cabinets and solutions across IGT’s Gaming, Digital and FinTech divisions. A highlight of IGT’s ICE portfolio was undoubtedly the RISE55 cabinet. The pristine, premium cabinet made its international trade show debut with award-winning multi-level progressive games Magic Treasures Gold and Money Gong, and core video standouts Treasure Blast and Rising Rockets. ICE was also the international debut of IGT’s dual-screen RISE32 cabinet. Ergonomically designed for player comfort and optimal game-viewing angles, the RISE32 cabinet was presented with games such as Mummy Link, Stink Link and Top Link. IGT also presented new content for Spain’s Salones Sector with an AWP version of Tiger and Dragon and the all-new 4 Fortunes Link multi-game.
The IGT PlayDigital section of the stand was also buzzing with game demonstrations and live tutorials of the Company’s Engagement Platform. IGT’s iGaming portfolio was differentiated by a mix of omnichannel favorites, such as Tiger and Dragon and Prosperity Link, along with “online originals” like Mega Tusk and Crowning Wins. IGT ADVANTAGE was the focal point of the Company’s systems showcase. Designed for on-premise and cloud-based deployments, IGT ADVANTAGE proved its versatility via advancements to its direct funding functionality and a range of player convenience modules. IGT’s robust portfolio of Everi FinTech, RegTech, MarTech, and loyalty solutions was another highlight of the Company’s showcase. With an emphasis on the Everi “Digital Neighborhood,” the Company presented its unique capacity to deliver integrated self-service payment options, new loyalty modules, enhanced marketing technology, and advanced compliance tools.
IGT’s success at ICE extended beyond the footprint of its trade show exhibit. In honor of IGT’s 50th anniversary, Hector Fernandez accepted an “ICE Landmark Award.” Presented by Clarion Gaming, this awards program celebrated organizations and individuals whose innovation, leadership, and dedication have helped shape the global gaming landscape. IGT was also named “Slot Provider of the Year” at the International Gaming Awards and won “Best Cash Handling Product” at the European Casino Awards for Everi’s Premium Cash Redemption Terminal (“CRT”) payment technology. Through a dazzling stand, productive customer meetings and an award-winning week in Barcelona, one thing was very clear: IGT has embarked upon what Fernandez described as its “journey to the top.”
