The judges said ‘This individual, Executive Chairman of the Hippodrome Casino London, has spent more than a decade transforming Britain’s casino industry. After reopening the Hippodrome in 2012, they set the benchmark for responsibly run, entertainment- led casinos and played a key role in reforms that became law in 2025, culminating in the UK’s first in- casino sportsbook.’
