Novovision qp CI Feb26.indd 1 WWW.CASINOINTERNATIONAL-ONLINE.COM Editor’s comment Hello and welcome to another issue of Casino International!

I feel like I’ve just made my first cup of tea of 2026; it’s been THAT busy. I’m used to the ‘work hangover’ of Christmas and new year, but this one was a doozy.

Everyone stopped caring around Dec 15th, mentally checked completely out by around the 20th, returned Jan 3rd-ish (but didn’t really do anything because so many people were still off until about Jan 13th), THEN it was ICE, THEN it was all about recovering/catching up after ICE, and then… it’s now. Phew.

So, as mentioned, time for a brew.

And, while you enjoy your cuppa (two sugars please) why not continue through the odyssey that is this issue of the magazine.

I can offer you pages dedicated to the likes of Merkur, NOVOMATIC and Pateplay (our new best mates!) as well as the latest news from Stateside, LATAM, Better Change, UK Legal, Africa, Macau, Pandora (those blue monkeys LOVE gambling!), LV-426 (we haven’t heard from any of the casinos there for a while, which is strange), and Narnia, where freezing conditions have led to far more online bingo being played than usual.

Some of that is true. Much of it is not. I’ll leave you to find out which is which.

What is 100% true is that the European Casino Awards and the European iGaming Awards were both smash hits, which we enjoyed along with the sights and smells of Barcelona (sorry, that might be me – I’ve eaten A LOT of weird tapas). We have full reports on all the awards, plus a round up of ICE, so on seconds thoughts, better make that a pot for two.

I’ll get my mug. Matt
