What offering do you have lined up in the cloud space? Mike Adler, CTO, N-able: “N-able recently acquired Spinpanel, a Microsoſt Cloud management and automation platform company. Integrated with the launch of Cloud User Hub, it allows users to automate the management and security of all Microsoſt tenants, users, and licenses. “But we’re not content to simply acquire and relaunch - we’re
building on this. At Empower, we teased the launch of Cloud Asset Manager, a service that will help MSPs to better manage Microsoſt Azure assets, evolving from Microsoſt 365 management to asset management, which is key as the cloud landscape changes and grows. Simplifying and streamlining cloud management is as important as making the transition to the cloud, and automation will be critical to this.
How do you support MSPs? Kevin Bury, Chief Customer Officer, N-able: “Our goal is to provide MSPs with powerful soſtware solutions that monitor, manage, and secure their customers’ systems, data and networks. But what we do goes beyond technology. “We’ve created several partner-based offerings to truly support
our partners to provide the very best service to their customers, giving them advice on how to market their business, sell to prospects, and grow their business. We have tailored onboarding and support programs, tons of educational resources, and events like our Empower partner conference and business transformation programs that encourage peer-level learnings. And we offer MarketBuilder, an automated marketing platform that makes promoting and selling even easier.

“I call it “altruistic selfishness.” Tat means that we do what’s best
for our partners to help them succeed, which in turn, helps us all succeed. It’s a no-brainer.
How can MSPs look to be more agile in the cloud space? Chris Groot, GM, Cove Data Protection: “MSPs need to become trusted advisers, offering specialised advice and analysis on cloud migration on how to establish and secure a modern workplace. And this can only happen with MSPs adopting a cloud-first mentality. “So, for example, MSPs oſten view local and cloud backup as an
“either-or” decision but today it’s less complicated than this. True- delta cloud-first backup is the best approach to ensure data can be mirrored easily and retrieved quickly, while also significantly speeding up the entire process. And Cove Data Protection is a perfect example of this, saving hours while also giving technicians more meaningful roles and responsibilities – key in a market flooded with labour shortages. If it’s not cloud first, it’s missing the mark.”
What are the key take away’s from the N-able Empower? David Weeks, Senior Director, Community: “Tis year we tailored the event towards how MSPs can ‘own the cloud’ but we also held true to our purposeful mission of making this event about our partners and not about us. “As we become more reliant on digital in our industries and it
becomes more and more deeply rooted in our economies, the need for support in the cloud is only going to increase. Our MSP partners are perfectly placed to help with this challenge - they should own it. “Our other big message was that private equity firms are buying MSPs at an unprecedented rate, so it’s important to understand how
