We truly believe that once you have ridden a handmade tyre you will not go back vulcanized Due to the nature of the tyre construction and the location of our factory to the raw materials, we also believe that our tyres are much more friendly to the environment due to not using harsh chemicals, something which going forward is going to be very important in not only the cycle industry but all aspects of life.

What sort of feedback have you received from the industry? Most recently, we are incredibly proud to have been awarded a Road.cc award for Tyre of the Year for our top performing Criterium RS road tyre which is available in a Tubeless Ready and Tubular. We are also the choice of many pro-riders in cyclocross with our tyres taking the top step in the Men’s Elite, Women’s Elite, Men’s Junior, and Women’s Junior races at the British Cyclocross Championships in Falkirk, as well of course as being the choice of Tom Pidcock at Ineos Grenadiers when racing in this discipline.

What are the plans for 2024 and beyond? Very much on expanding our offering of tyres, particularly in growth areas such as Gravel. With the launch of our new Gravine recently at COREbike in two different variations (a Pro and XP for more protection from punctures) we now have a tread pattern that can cope with whatever surface is being ridden on.

Educating riders who choose our tyres for cyclocross in the benefits of also using them in gravel racing where the exact same performance benefits of the handmade construction transfer over will also be a key focus, with us attending events and races so we can get tyres in peoples hands. We will of course also constantly listen to the feedback from our pro riders and continue to develop our tread patterns in areas such as cyclocross where tyre choices really do matter, and look to grow our presence in the road market particularly after the awards our range continue to gain.
