Orange Bikes set for ‘a new dawn’
THE future of Orange Bikes has been secured after an announcement confirmed the heritage MTB brand is set to resume trading. As part of a restructure, Orange Bikes has successfully acquired its UK frame manufacturing partner, Bairstows Sheet Metal, and will continue to operate under the ownership of Ash Ball.
This is a significant development that brings Orange one step closer to having the entire company exist under one roof. With this acquisition, Orange will be able to streamline
operations and create a more efficient production process. The new facility, two miles from its current headquarters,
will serve as the new home for Orange Bikes. It will house both frame fabrication facility and bike assembly. This integration will enable Orange to
have greater control over the manufacturing process, ensuring the highest quality standards for its bikes. From the delivery of the aluminium at one
end of the factory, to the shipment of complete bikes from the other, Orange is hoping to have a “seamless and efficient workflow” moving forward. Through the streamlining of the business, Orange has been able to preserve jobs and reinforce the stability of the brand.
