can be removed by buffing the bike back to its former glory. In short, Reilly believes a handcrafted titanium frame is for life. They back up these claims by offering a lifetime guarantee on all frames – one of the many factors which contributed to the independent judging panel honouring them at the BikeBiz Awards. “A lifetime warranty is not just marketing hype,” said
Ratcliff. “We believe a Reilly is your forever bike. It’s a sustainable purchase that hopefully will be passed down through the generations.”
Updates for 2024
With the unrelenting rise in gravel riding, Reilly spent a large part of last year refining its titanium gravel range. 2024 sees a new version of the best-selling adventure bike, the Gradient, issued with tyre clearance up to 700c x 47mm, to sit alongside the all-road, ultra-endurance Spectre and its new fully-integrated, aero gravel race bike the Reflex. “With the Reflex we wanted to meld the responsive handling and comfort of the Gradient with the speed and agility of our Fusion aero road bike,” said Reilly co-founder Neil FitzGerald. “Drawing on Mark Reilly’s progressive gravel frame geometry, we spent a lot of time revisiting titanium production techniques, especially investment casting, which

worked so effectively for our aero road bike. In 2023 we crafted a couple of Reflex prototypes which were put through their paces at events like Kings Cup Gravel and we’ve refined the design from there. “For me, the joy is working out how to get the best out of this magical material. By trade, I am a patternmaker for F1 motorsports, so making beautiful, functional handcrafted titanium frames is important to me. Plus, I cycle a lot so if the theory doesn’t match the practice, I get annoyed. I’m really pleased with the Reflex. It is a modern-looking, titanium gravel race winner.”
Praise for the Reflex has come from David Arthur of Just Ride Bikes and
Road.cc. Arthur said: “The Reilly Reflex titanium gravel bike is a Carbon Fibre Slayer.”
Road.cc mused: “Is the Reflex the classiest gravel bike in the world right now?”
Working with dealers Dealer expansion has always been part of Reilly’s business plan. As a company, Reilly is keen to develop solid relationships with bike shops and workshops around the country who understand the brand and its distinct custom-build ethos. This plan jumped into action with the appointment of Petra Wiltshire, Reilly’s first field sales agent back in August 2023. Ex-MTB pro Wiltshire has spent the last six months visiting shops and workshops with Reilly’s fleet of titanium road and
