than average and offer hassle-free maintenance. Tenways primarily targets urban commuters in city environments where the design and ease of use make them both attractive and simple to use.
Since launching its operation on these shores in
September, Tenways’ efforts in the UK market have been spearheaded by the CGO range (the CGO600 Pro and the step-thru 800S) – single seed, belt drive technology that features a torque-sensing rear hub motor from Mivice allied with a Gates carbon belt drive. Tenways also produces a fully connected single speed (009), powerful multi-gear mid-drive models (the AGO range) and a cargo model (available to pre-order). But what truly makes Tenways’ products unique? “Quality, affordable price, relatively light weight and ultra-low maintenance,” explains Greg Vanner, country manager for the brand. “We deliver high-quality e-bikes tailored for urban life, combining innovative technology with a strong commitment to sustainability. Our strong customer support combines with the bikes’ style, reliability and affordable price to make exceptional quality available to all.
“We are particularly proud of the class-leading
technology at the heart of the first models to hit the UK market, the CGO range and the light weight, high quality ride it offers. “
Getting the timing right
With the success and growth of the brand across continental Europe, Vanner believes “the timing was right” to progress with the expansion into the UK market. “Plans had been in place for several months, and once we secured the services of a local warehouse/logistics partner all the pieces were in place to launch fully into the UK,” he explains. “Being able to service the retailer network locally gives us a huge advantage and gives the retailers and consumers the confidence to purchase our product.” While the UK is still relatively untapped territory for
Tenways, it already has customers here who have been riding bikes for the past two years. And Vanner says feedback has been “extremely positive”. “Despite being a young company, Tenways has already been praised for delivering well-designed, high-quality, affordable e-bikes with great customer support, offering a two-year warranty on all our e-bikes - five years on the frame and front fork,” he continues. “Our belt-driven motor systems that make efficient use
of battery life are a real highlight for industry watchers looking for the latest tech. “Both the Tenways CGO600 Pro and CGO 800S have won the coveted Red Dot Award for their outstanding

quality and design, beating numerous entries from companies and design studios around the world.” Despite the success to-date, it’s key for Vanner and
Tenways to get products in front of potential clients and – more importantly – get people riding them. Building this foundation and generating interest around
Tenways has been an important part of the brand’s strategy island that looks set to continue into 2025. “2024 has been a year of creating further brand
awareness for Tenways, we have participated in several UK events, both nationally and locally with our key retailers,” comments Vanner.
“The feedback, not only from the event organisers, but also the end consumer has been overwhelmingly positive. “The Cycling Electric Demo Day events, where consumers are specifically attending to demo bikes to make a conscious decision to purchase, are key for the industry as a whole and have proved to be very successful. The more people we can get trying e-bikes, the more we will convert to the future of urban mobility. These events
