In this month’s distributor, BikeBiz catches up with Brandon Powersports’ managing director Hamish Brandon to talk through the firm’s roots and entering the cycling sector

Can you give us some background on the business? The business was started originally by my late father in 1970 as a hobby… which quickly expanded into a full time career for him. When my Dad began, it was originally selling spark plugs to the automotive and motorcycle trade and the passion for two wheels grew from there. Fast forward over 50 years later and we continue as a family run business, 100% owned by the same family. Our core business at the moment comes from the


motorcycle sector and we have a strong range of high quality brands that we represent.
