In terms of stock accuracy, ZyroFisher says they are 99.9% accurate, performing stock counts several times a year, once a year for all stock, and twice a year for all high-value stock. They currently have 46 full-time staff in the warehouse, a number they’ve reduced over the years to streamline efficiency. They’ve also made further changes to layout, making room for additional product, as well as changing to paperless dispatch. Even down to changing what tape they use to streamline the entire process. Turning attention to IBDs, you’ll find head of IBD sales, Adrian Mawdsley, who joined the business in 2024. ZyroFisher’s IBD network is vast, servicing around 2800 dealers, with ten account managers for the bike side of the business, one outdoor account manager and five internal sales staff. Reflecting on the change in industry following the turbulent times of Covid, Adrian observes the shift from shops selling parts, accessories and bikes, to a more prominent focus on workshop. Working with a diverse mix of dealers has allowed the team to see how the landscape has changed. In response, ZyroFisher has also adapted to reflect this, “we try to work with brands and our retailers to create a nice environment. We want to work with retailers that are engaged with us to create a nice image for our brands, and we’re here to help and educate them with training,” said Adrian.
