“2025 feels like a reset year in the world of family cycling. After a number of difficult years where we lost some well-loved names, it’s great to see new brands launching (and old favourites returning). There’s also been a lot of innovation in a wide range of

product categories, from cargo bikes at one end of the price spectrum to helmets and accessories at the other, many of which are helping to make cycling more appealing to a wider range of families. We’ve had so many reviews booked this summer that we’re having to bring new families on board to help us with the testing!”

18 | August 2025

“We’ve seen a strong increase in demand in 2025, both from existing cyclists wanting some extra assistance or range from their bikes, and from non-cyclists wanting a cost-effective e-mobility solution. Our data certainly suggests people are wanting to use their bikes more often in 2025 - hopefully it’s an encouraging sign of the market improving and not just a reaction to some nice weather!”
