19 ome, they just change as time goes on’

is a multi-stage cyclone separation system that uses centrifugal forces to separate dirt particles from the air that been sucked in. The airflow is sent into a strong vortex (cyclone) where even the smallest particles are pushed outwards with enormous force and collected in the collection container. The powerful battery, together with the digital brushless motor with more than 100,000 rpm, ensures efficient and powerful cleaning. The Balance A1 is equipped with a multi- stage filtration system to ensure maximum air purification. This high-quality microfiltration system extracts the finest particles, such as pollen or allergens, and the exhaust air emitted is cleaner than the ambient room air. An intuitive LED display shows the battery charge level, enabling easy adjustment of the power level using the integrated buttons. The selected level is clearly displayed in a bar graph, smart technology for a quick and easy cleaning experience. With an extremely low noise level of just 70 dB (level 1), the Balance A1 operates quietly making it ideal for households with children, pets or sensitive ears.

The lightweight and ergonomic design means that whether on floors, stairs, or hard-to-reach areas, the Balance A1 ensures effortless cleaning and maximum convenience. With LED Search Lights on the Power Brush it illuminates dust and debris on the floor, whilst the LED

Crevice Nozzle lights up nooks and crannies, so dirt really has nowhere to hide. He continued by saying that the market is in “quite a state of flux”, with there being so much uncertainty and consumers not having a clear understanding of what the future holds - this has then meant that a lot of retailers are struggling. “There are always challenges to overcome, they just change as time goes on and you have to continuously adapt to survive,” Mr Binks comments.

“Recent tax rises are affecting all employers and we are implementing new systems to improve our productivity. “We have an ageing population and also a move to hard flooring, especially downstairs and in city apartments, hence why we have

introduced our super-lightweight cordless, which has been designed to be easy and comfortable to use.”

Whilst commenting on whether there would be any new technologies or trends in the floorcare segment, Mr Binks predicts there won’t be any particular new technologies but the appliances will continue to be lighter and more powerful.

The sustainability question

“Sustainability has always been important to SEBO and our products offer what you could call the golden triangle sustainability - durability, repairability and recyclability,” he explains. “‘Social responsibility’ means different things to different people. We focus on things we have control over, supporting our staff and trying to go the extra mile for our customers.” To support its customers SEBO has a sales team out on the road to help train and advise its retail partners. Alongside this it uses its media team, who work with retailers to develop social media campaigns and point of sale tips. “We pride ourselves on being flexible and always aim to tailor our support to meet each retailer’s unique needs,” he adds. “For independent retailers to succeed it is so important that stores focus on their presentation and product knowledge, and we are always on hand to help.”
