FRANCHISEFOCUS IN V ESTMENT: £12,500 Cleaning up
One of the UK’s fastest-growing oven cleaning franchises, Oven Wizards is going from strength to strength
O
ver the past eight years, Oven Wizards franchisors John Graham and Mark Abbott have
successfully built one of the largest oven cleaning franchises in the UK. The pair has overseen growth from three franchisees to over 60 at present, seen franchisee agreement renewals at 100 per cent over the last few years, plus a growing number of
women joining the network, not to mention the increase in franchisees expanding their horizons by becoming multi-van operators. James Booker, who owns Oven Wizards
Maidstone, a multi-van operation, says: “I looked at many franchises before choosing Oven Wizards and I know without a doubt that I made the right choice. Oven cleaning is going through an exciting period of growth and Oven Wizards is perfectly placed to grow with the industry. My Oven Wizards business has given me the work-life balance that my previous job never did. Working hard reaps its rewards but I still have the flexibility to take time to enjoy life.” Managing director Mark Abbott says:

“We are thoroughly enjoying sharing our business ethos with our new franchisees and it is great to see them doing so well in their own territories. We are now getting good national coverage for Oven Wizards, from Aberdeen to the Isle of Wight and
from Carmarthen to Norwich, but we still have areas available for hard- working individuals who want to run their own business.” Stephen Leaver, who owns the Tamworth
territory, says: “I looked into three different franchise companies and Oven Wizards stood out as the one that responded with more positive prospects. Important to my decision to join them was the opportunity for close conversations and a face-to-face meeting with franchisors Mark Abbott and John Graham. l
