Guardian Angel Carers Tim Corry has run uardian Angel Carers Farnham  uildford since 

What did you do before franchising? Franchise co-owner Alex and I met when we served in the RAF and later went on to be commercial pilots together.

What prompted the decision to look into franchising In short, the pandemic. When commercial flying all but stopped, I went out to volunteer and help those in need in my local community. Alex and I were new to business ownership and the sector, franchising offered us a proven model with knowledgeable support. We looked at a few options, but uardian Angel arers stood out for us.

I spent time researching online and saw the uardian

Angel arers website. I liked what I read. Their ethos, spirit of compassion and warm familial feel really chimed with me, and hristina's Olympic story to entrepreneurfounder inspired me to get in touch.

Why were you drawn to a care and health-related industry? The volunteering work made me reflect on the care my elderly relatives had received, it highlighted how wellbeing and quality of life are essential and made me want to support other people to maintain this. The industry is hugely rewarding. I've discovered

more and more about it to inspire: the incredible work being done to treat dementia, the advances in enabling

technology and preventative approaches to medicine and care.

How’s training and support, both initially and ongoing? And how’s business going ? Alex and I were given a lot of time by founder hristina Handasyde ick and the headquarters team. They supported us every step of the way.

“Guardian Angel Carers' ethos, spirit of compassion and warm familial feel really chimed with me”

We have just expanded into our second territory,

following the success of our first. Our team is growing, and we are far exceeding our financial targets.

How has life changed since you launched your Guardian Angel Carers business? I'm more energised and motivated than ever. Working in my community means I'm able to be there more for my own family.
