been a huge part of her life. Having been an established franchisee for over

six years, Jay is going from strength to strength, acquiring additional territories and aspiring to own her own pool. For Jay, the route to where she is now feels like it was always meant to be. As a previous record holder for the 50 metres

“Puddle Ducks provide an amaing oppo unity for anyone drien to run their own successful and profitable business

She says: “Although I loved my job and the career I

had built, my love for swimming and the desire to run my own business was never far from my mind. The turning point was when I became a mum. I wasn’t aware of what was out there when it came to baby swimming lessons, but I took my daughter along to a class and just fell in love, I knew that this could allow me to turn my passion into a business.” It was following a conversation with a friend who

had spotted the available Puddle Ducks territory, that for Jay, this really became a viable option and so she quit her job and invested in the franchise. With an existing customer base and ready-made revenue – along with a proven business model and support network – a Puddle Ducks franchise meant ay was fi nally able to turn her business dreams into a reality. “It was such an exciting time, doing what I love and being able to teach children an essential life
