Real-life stories IT COULD BE YOU!

ActionCOACH’s Billy Smith achieved the ultimate goal of business ownership

W

hilst Billy Smith has set himself up for another year of fulfilment and significant growth in his business it’s given him the chance to look back on his previous

corporate career that didn’t quite hit the mark when it came to job satisfaction. Now, two and a half years after launching his ActionCOACH franchise in Cheltenham, he’s reaping the rewards of choosing to be his own boss. In December 2018, Billy discovered ActionCOACH and he

realised it was the solution to helping businesses. He booked onto the next discovery day to meet  Co-founder an Christelow and find out more “I met with various franchise partners who were at different

stages of their journeys and, I’ve got to admit, the more I looked, the more it seemed perfect for me. Very soon it became clear that it was a no-brainer to invest in the franchise

The dream team Just over two years into his business, Billy’s income comfortably exceeds that of his time in his corporate career He and his team now work with  clients in group and one-to-one sessions With their plans to implement additional ActionCOACH programmes such as BookCB and a new women’s group ActionCACH Cheltenham is showing no signs of slowing down.

“If anything, the pandemic gave me the thirst to take things

even further. At the start of 2021, we were hoping to have 10 new clients by  We’ve reached that target so ’m confident that every goal we set ourselves from now is attainable. I’m proud to support local businesses and I’m positive about getting my own up to a serious rate of knots. “This year I’ve got big plans, we’re looking to have four

employee coaches and a turnover of seven figures by  n the next few years  want to bring a general manager in to run the business. I wouldn’t be able to step away entirely though, I love what I do too much!”

Match of the day Billy has established an enviable work-life balance thats a far cry from his previous career. Gone are the days when he would spend his time commuting ying abroad and staying away from home for long periods of time, as he can now declare his weekends a strictly work-free one n my spare time  play football for the over s and this summer I’ll be playing tennis again. I also enjoy spending a lot

more time with my family, I get to watch my son play football for the local team and support my daughter when she plays hockey, in amongst all the other family stuff on the weekend. That’s only been made possible by ActionCOACH and their support. The freedom that comes with being my own boss and being able to reap the benefits of my work entirely exceeds any sense of career satisfaction I’ve had before.”
