The pretzel professionals … Auntie Anne’s leads the way in freshly baked goods

Established over 30 years ago, and with over 2,000 stores globally (more than 40 of those in the UK and Ireland) Auntie Anne's are proud to handmake every product from scratch at each store.

What training and support do you provide? We provide comprehensive training for all new franchisees. Two weeks of this takes place at our head office in Buckinghamshire. The first week covers all the operational training required to run your store, you’ll be an expert at rolling pretzels after this! The second week will cover the business management training, and is currently held digitally. After this you will have a further week in your own store, once built, with your newly recruited team and our trainer to guide you up to and throughout your grand opening event.

Describe a typical day? There's no such thing as a "typical day" for a food franchisee! There

62

are daily, weekly and monthly tasks to manage but between dealing with staff, customers and suppliers, every day can be different. Every franchisee should start the day asking: how am I going to do better than yesterday – how are we going to beat our daily sales target or increase our guest count? What can I do to improve my business in a measurable way?

"There is no such thing as a 'typical day' when you’re a food franchisee!"

What are the rewarding aspects of running an Auntie Anne's? If you’ve ever cooked a delicious meal for someone, you know what it means to see the happiness on their face; this is what you and your team will do on a daily basis. The aim is to hand-make and bake, soft, sweet and savoury pretzels along with

other products, delighting every customer with a “wow!” product. People need to eat and people

like to eat freshly made food that is tasty, convenient and good value. Auntie Anne’s offer a completely unique bakery concept with a strong heritage and a reputation for being the tastiest, freshest soft pretzel in the world. Plus you get to eat all the pretzels you like! Due to the hand-made nature of our product, you will also enjoy a strong gross profit margin of 70 per cent and above.

What are you are looking for in a franchisee? We are primarily interested in prospects who have experience in managing a team of people, can think on their feet, motivate their team and drive sales and, most importantly, they believe in delivering outstanding customer service at all times. Experience with food or baking is not necessary but does help. 
