n Since qualifying as a beauty therapist in 2005, Justyna Rostek has worked in various salons across London, eventually becoming employed as the manager of Guinot’s fl agship salon in Albemarle Street, Mayfair. She says: “After being made
redundant in July 2015, I was forced to reconsider my plans for the future. Owning my own salon had always been a dream of mine, and the Guinot franchise gave me the opportunity and confi dence to achieve that dream. In November 2015, I offi cially opened my salon, Guinot Earlsfi eld.
“Having worked with the Guinot brand for almost seven years I knew that it was already a well-known and respected brand, famous for its
ground-breaking research and results- driven treatments among my peers and clients. I had previously treated journalists, celebrities and many high- profi le clients, so I was confi dent that this would help me build a large, loyal client base. I wanted to bring outstanding treatments, a caring and attentive team of therapists and wonderful customer service to a high-street salon. “When I fi rst opened the salon, I had
more of a front-of-house role, but to cope with the demand, I have now employed a full-time receptionist so I am able to be more hands on as a therapist and dedicate more of my time to networking. “As a franchisee I receive continuous training and support for myself and my staff through weekly calls and meetings every six weeks. There’s also great marketing support with new off ers being introduced every six weeks designed to drive the business forward and attract footfall through the eye-catching franchise-exclusive promotions. “Although I’m very busy with the
business, the support from the brand helps me with my work-life balance, as I was even able to start a family since opening my salon!” You do not need to have a
background in beauty therapy to be eligible for a Guinot franchise.
