The new season opens in Paris with Première
Vision. Twice yearly, the world’s designers and manufacturers come together here with a
profusion of ideas and a new creative dialogue to
celebrate the start of a new collection.

Historically, the presentation of the fall-winter collections at Première Vision Paris takes place in the first half of September. For the A/W 23/24 edition the organisation decided to bring the event forward, resulting in a physical show at the Parc des Expositions complemented by a digital show accessible online in July.
Première Vision explained the change in date by saying that the evolving cycles of the fashion industry as well as the needs of manufacturers could be better catered to in this way. A 32% growth in the creative offer (vs. September 2021) and the ongoing return of international visitors seem to confirm the event’s strategic choices. At a time when the majority of consumers state that they intend to
change the way they buy clothing in the coming years to better integrate eco-responsibility criteria, Première Vision continues to support the sector’s players in their environmental and social transition by offering several ways to share expertise such as the Smart Creation space, the Eco-Innovation Forum, the Trend Tasting Eco-Innovation seminar, and conferences dedicated to the challenges of eco-responsible fashion.
Brewed protein One of the exhibitors
presenting their ecological solutions for the fashion
industry was Spiber Inc. This company produces ‘brewed
protein’, a new class of protein materials manufactured through their in-house
proprietary fermentation (brewing) process. Brewed
protein polymers are produced primarily from plant-derived feedstocks and do not rely on animal-based resources. They can be processed into fibres,
resin, films, and other types of materials.

autumn/winter 23/24 The Autumn/Winter 23/24 colour
range reveals three strong choices, with
flavourful, dissonant or soothing shades, exploring gradations to promote radical and personal fashion approaches, and navigating between discretion and extravagance.
