Charity Calendar 2023
Now in its fifth year, the Haute Dogs Calendar has returned with a campaign to raise funds for Thailand-based charity Jai Dog Rescue. Led by award- winning London-based milliner Awon Golding, the project features 13 former stray dogs wearing bespoke designer headwear from an all-star line-up of milliners: Awon Golding Millinery, Jane Smith, Belinda Osborne of Peacock Millinery, Marianne Jongkind, Phillip Rhodes Hats, Rachel Trevor-Morgan, Michelle Kearns Designs, Christine Graham of Lock & Co. Hatters, Vivien Sheriff, Bundle MacLaren Millinery, Camilla Rose Millinery, and Lara Jensen.
For the first time in Haute Dogs’ history, all 13 of the dogs featured in the 2023 calendar are available for adoption and hoping to find a lasting home. Each calendar aims to spread some joy and happiness while also providing crucial funds to help the lives of the neediest dogs. 100% of the proceeds raised from the sale of the calendar will be donated to Jai Dog Rescue, supporting the rescue and rehabilitation of sick and injured street dogs in Thailand.

‘Claude Saint-Cyr and Christian Dior, at Atelier-Musée du Chapeau a hat love story’
An exhibition at the hat museum in Chazelles-sur-Lyon is presenting drawings by Christian Dior and photographs by Georges Martin dedicated to Claude Saint-Cyr. Active in Paris and London between the 1930s and 1960s, this great milliner worked with many leading fashion designers, and listed members of the British royal family among her clients. ‘Claude Saint-Cyr et Christian Dior,
une aventure en chapeaux’ (also titled ‘Claude Saint-Cyr and Christian Dior,
a hat love story’) brings together six drawings by Christian Dior, twenty photo prints of various formats (most taken by Georges Martin, photographer and husband of Claude Saint-Cyr), four Claude Saint-Cyr branded hats from the museum’s own collections, as well as several objects lent by Mrs Christine Labrune, the daughter of Claude Saint- Cyr. Some of the drawings and photos
Claude Saint-Cyr wearing one of her creations, April 1937
were previously on display in temporary exhibitions at the Museum of Decorative Arts in Paris and at the Christian Dior Museum in Granville.
