IRISX OFFERS BRIGHT FUTURE FOR IP INTERCOM CONTROL
Clear-Com BY DAVID FOX
Clear-Com’s V-Series IrisX IP intercom control panel expands on the original V-Series Iris panel, with new TFT label displays for increased brightness and better resolution combined with the V-Series Iris’ lower latency and increased port capacity. It fi ts naturally into IP-based
productions with AES67 connectivity and dual NIC connections. Along with all V-Series panels, IrisX takes advantage of key new features found in the latest version of Clear-Com’s Eclipse HX Digital
Matrix software, such as role- based workfl ows and new redundancy measures, including N+1 card redundancy and network redundancy. Additional benefi ts of IrisX include capacity for three concurrent full duplex uncompressed audio streams and backwards compatibility with MVX-A16 and IVC-32 cards. The TFT displays in IrisX offer higher resolution and more variation in brightness for clearer label information and data display. They are said to be far more resistant to burn-in or fading, for a signifi cantly longer overall lifespan. 10.D29
