WELCOME
Good conversations with the right people are priceless
I
t is with great humility and enthusiasm that I look forward to serving as your president during the challenging times we face globally. May I thank Bill Caruso FFCSI, immediate past president of FCSI Worldwide for his mentoring, and to the various Divisions for their ongoing support and vote of confidence in my presidency of this wonderful Society. As consultants we are continually evaluating the benefits of our experience and knowledge in advising our clients on the best way of identifying and taking advantage of the benefits available. While we are all committed to our clients and the best interest of their businesses as well as to our own consultancy practices, how many of us have stopped to examine the benefits of our FCSI membership and how it can be used to the best advantage of our clients and in turn for each one of us. The benefits of FCSI membership come in two forms: tangible and intangible. Tangible benefits are the same for all members and handed to you with membership, it is up to you to take advantage of them. Many of these tangible

benefits are the same for all members wherever you are in the world, but there are others where your ability to take advantage can vary considerably because of where you are located.
Intangible benefits will be different for each member to discover depending on your individual needs and circumstances. They are there for you to evaluate and benefit from in the same way we do for our clients and their businesses. The opportunities of these unique
FCSI member benefits will be direct, personal, and professional and can be applied to project your capabilities to your clients and your community. It is why, this quarter, we are proud to launch the FCSI Allied Member Initiative, opening channels for Allied members to tell us about what they are working on. It will see new videos being aired on FCSI Worldwide’s YouTube channel and we heartily encourage Allied members to send videos about new products and projects. Stay tuned to the weekly e-newsletter for more information. FCSI is a global family, and during these difficult times possibly the most important benefit is the opportunity for building professional relationships. It does not matter where you are in the world, most of the daily issues experienced as consultants are the same. It may be a practical or client relationship issue, but by being able to reach out to a professional FCSI colleague, a problem shared can be a problem resolved. I encourage every FCSI member to take an active interest in your respective

individual FCSI Divisional Boards have worked hard and smart to ensure that the FCSI brand continues its resurgence to add VALUE that is valued by our Professional and Allied Members and, most importantly, by our clients.
