A. Dual Purpose Electroscope With Scale
This gold leaf electroscope is great for hands on experience with electrostatic principles in physics classrooms and labs. The solidly constructed sheet anodised aluminum walls of the electroscope are mounted on a plastic base. Front glass window slides up to allow insertion of ionizing material in chamber. Transparent scale is attached inside chamber to measure the deflection of the gold leaf.
Includes two gold leaf sheets, fitted with 4mm socket. Assembled, the electroscope measures 165 x 95 x 70mm.
Note: The gold-leaf does not come pre-attached to the electroscope. Instructions on how to properly attach the gold-leaf to the conducting rod are included with the product manual.

B. Large Needle Electroscope
This extra-large electroscope is ideal for classroom demonstrations of electrostatic principles. A light-weight metal vane is used as a pointer in the electroscope. This light-weight metal blade deflects when the electroscope plate is charged. A transparent scale is provided to measure the angle of the deflection. The front glass window slides up to allow insertion of ionizing material in the chamber. Assembled, the electroscope measures: 25 x 20 x 12cm.
E8R08077 C. Zinc Plate (for Electroscope)
A 40 x 40mm zinc plate on a 4mm connector which can replace the top plate of an electroscope. The plate can be used to show discharge under UV Lighting and the photo-electric effect.
