The online Criminal Justice program at North Greenville University leads to a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice (BACJ). This degree emphasizes Christian values, practical applications and technology within the criminal justice field, and advocacy. Additionally, this program is among the few criminal justice programs that provide an analysis of ethical principles and decision-making in conjunction with Christ-centered insight. This degree prepares students for positions during a time when the criminal justice field is experiencing unprecedented growth.

The Student Learning Objectives of the BACJ are to enable the adult learner to:

1. Articulate and defend how they will become difference-makers in their chosen profession and realms of service and ministry;

2. Analyze the major schools of thought in Criminology, Criminal Justice, and Corrections;

3. Evaluate the role and history that religion plays in the foundation of the criminal justice system, and ethical issues impacting law enforcement, courts, and corrections;

4. Apply research methodology towards criminal justice data synthesis, including research design, literature review, critical thinking, and empirical analysis;

5. Demonstrate professional ethical standards consistent with Christian values, professional development, networking strategies, and practical application.
