The production version of the Toyota C-HR, which was unveiled at the 2016 Geneva Motor Show, was the result of years of fine-tuning, with various iterations having broken cover in Paris in 2014 and Frankfurt in 2015. The concept gave the first hints of the type of crossover vehicle Toyota wants to bring to market, with a design underpinning a new diamond-shaped, bold aesthetic language. The C-HR Concept brought a
fresh approach to the compact crossover segment, just as the RAV4 had when it was introduced 20 years before. Much of the expressive diamond
architecture and muscular stance of the concept have been preserved in the production model, as has the advanced new hybrid powertrain. Both aim to satisfy customers with active urban lifestyles who demand excellent handling and control.
