FABRIC BLOCK DESIGNER: MYUNG DUK CHUNG (SOUTH KOREA)
Fabric block is a malleable fabric cloth that can be utilised and re-used to create network systems, toys and architectural structures. Prototypes employ new methods of fabric
forms to explore the structural performance of catenary shapes found in thin shells. Fabric block can be adaptable, depending on its materials. Moving forward, the designer plans to examine how it can be used in a performative manner or for industrial purposes.
