DOMOTEX ADVERTORIAL

TRENDSETTING THE HISTORIC RECORD THE COMPANY SET 2021 COULD BE TOPPED THIS YEAR LALEE IS The 2022 Collection was a great success and could lead to a

significant increase in sales. The 2023 collection with all its novelties will be presented at the Heimtextil 2023 in Frankfurt

Having grown to become one of the biggest carpet distributors in Europe, Lalee can look back with much pride on a very successful company history. The company was formed in 1985 and has grown

steadily, reaching record sales in 2022. The year began with a high degree of economic momentum. Then, despite struggling with the global political and economic drawbacks, Lalee put its success down to its ongoing and proven development strategy. CEO Walid Lalee explained: “Our 2021 collection

was followed by an extraordinary 2022 collection which set new standards. The recently launched 2023 collection found a huge echo in the market. I am very happy our new ideas are being accepted so well.” The company is currently exporting to 55 countries.

These include those throughout Europe and Asia, and from South America and Australia. With the advantage of its own in-house truck fl eet as well as reliable shipping partners, Lalee has proved that it can be fl exible and always meet short delivery

deadlines. The year 2022 was also noted for other signifi cant developments. The company not only expanded its warehouse capacity but added a stock of up to 2,000,000 square meters of ready goods in the central warehouse in Düren, Germany. This means it is now able to guarantee short-term and high-volume deliveries, which also means it can contribute positively to the planning schedules of its partners. Mr Armin Laqua, Key-Account, DIY, said: “We were able to record an above- average number of new business partners in the past year, which is a distinction for us.” The company’s decision to enter the home textiles sector (pillows, blankets and bath mats) at the end of 2019 was welcomed very positively by its trading partners. The concept of bringing home textiles to the market in a colour-co-ordinated manner with matching carpets proved particularly successful. Lalee is now making plans to expand this area signifi cantly
