Progression and Support Team


Academic colleagues are encouraged to refer student cases to the Progression and Support Team (PST) where a student’s issues are quite complex and will require further investigation. You can refer a student to PST by completing our quick and easy referral form. Contact Details:

Deferral or extenuating circumstances


If the issues are affecting the quality of the student’s work or ability to submit their work on time, please advise the student that they may be able to apply for Deferral or extenuating circumstances. Please refer students to: http://unihub.mdx.ac.uk/study/assessment-and-regulations Students can also attend drop-in sessions with Assessment Officers. These run from Monday-Friday, 11am-1pm at UniHelp.


Disability and Dyslexia Team If a student has specific learning difficulties such as dyslexia, they should contact the Disability and Dyslexia Team:
