Library and Student Support
When a student needs help with Academic Writing, English Language and Numeracy/Statistics
What should you be aware of?
Lecturers in the Learning Enhancement Team (LET) collaborate with subject lecturers to provide contextualised discipline-specific support with academic writing and language, which is embedded and scheduled within students’ degree programmes. The LET also offers opt-in support for students via drop-in sessions, one-to-one tutorials and workshops. The LET is for all students, whether they are doing well and want to do better, or they are struggling (for instance with the process of writing an assignment). The LET also offers specialist guidance with the use of Maths, Statistics and Numeracy (MSN).
