It’s difficult to assess its potential impact on business travel, and it was hard not to give the feature a satirical slant (as our cartoonist has), given the chaotic nature of negotiations. GTMC’s Adrian Parkes sees a knock-on effect could be bringing government to a halt (p114). Meanwhile, legal expert Ian Skuse looks ahead with precautionary measures in the event of a “no-deal” on p117. There’s a worrying lack of detail at the moment, but over the coming months we’ll attempt to shed more light on our impending divorce from the EU. For now buyers, like our cartoonist, will have to draw their own conclusions as talks continue.
