“It’s a silly universe full of wacky characters,” Wright says. It’s a universe that’s also designed with room to grow. Wright talks enthusiastically about the possibilities of extending it with additional pig characters and scenarios, effectively creating a recognisable Piggz world rather than treating Frankenswine and Prince of Porkness as isolated themes.
IGT CEO Hector Fernandez describes Queen as a brand with “truly global reach and lasting, cross-generational appeal”, while incoming Chief Studios Officer Jamie Knight says the development team considered everything from the music and imagery to the pacing of the bonuses when translating the band into a slot experience. For Eibl, however, the attraction of the licence ultimately comes back to the material available to the designers. Queen provides decades of music, imagery and live performances from which to build an experience, gifting the team a rich creative palette.
BRINGING HOME THE BACON Piggz Link was presented in Vegas on IGT’s RISE55 cabinet with two base games, Frankenswine and Prince of Porkness. Where Queen draws its identity from one of music’s most established brands, Piggz Link has been built around an original world that game designer David Wright deliberately wanted to look unlike a conventional IGT product. “I wanted to take the graphics in a different direction from a player’s perception of the standard IGT look,” Wright tells G3. “I specifically wanted to create a game that didn’t fit with traditional IGT art. I wanted it to stand out on a casino floor.”
Te difference is immediately apparent. Frankenswine and Prince of Porkness inhabit a deliberately irreverent cartoon universe populated by pigs, jokes and an unusually large amount of dialogue. Wright even provided the voice of Frankenswine himself, with another member of the development team voicing Prince of Porkness. “Tere are 118 vocals in each one of these games,” he says. And the characters are not simply decoration - they participate directly in features and can influence what happens during play. Piggz Link incorporates features including Pick-a-Prize, Monster Money and free games, with the central character able to reveal coins or interact with feature outcomes.
During Monster Money, for example, the game can alter the shape and size of the collection area. Wright’s intention was to

create an experience in which players are not always certain that a feature has finished simply because it appears to have reached its natural conclusion. “I didn’t want the player to ever know when it was all going to end,” he explains, creating a deliberately unpredictable tone that complements the humour of the characters.
Te artwork is equally important to Wright’s attempt to establish Piggz Link as something recognisably different. Rather than reproducing the polished visual language common across much of the contemporary slot floor, he wanted something closer to an old-fashioned cartoon aesthetic. Te result is a game that embraces its silliness.
Whether and how quickly that happens will depend partly upon performance. Wright says the team will watch the initial numbers before determining how the concept should evolve, although development teams inevitably begin thinking about potential follow-ups as soon as a new game reaches the floor. Te early indications, he says, have been encouraging.
Both Queen and Piggz Link sit within a much broader G2E presentation from IGT and Everi. At G2E 2026 Piggz Link joined titles including Lightning Rails and Split 'N' Win Link Boost on RISE32, and Money Gong Divine, Tiger and Dragon Power Sphere and Triple Coin Link on RISE55. Te booth also featured IGT’s 30 years of Wheel of Fortune Slots celebration with new video and stepper interpretations, while IGT ADVANTAGE X, Everi FinTech products and the Everi Vi Class II mobile solution demonstrated the combined organisation’s wider focus on connecting games, systems, funding and player engagement.
