heated by flame, a small
slow cooker will heat the chocolate evenly and keep it warm all evening.
SLOW COOKER CHOCOLATE FONDUE
PREP TIME 10 MIN. – COOK TIME 30 MIN. READY IN 40 MIN. – SERVINGS 6
Cooking spray 2 (10 oz) pkgs Nature’s Promise Semi-Sweet Organic Chocolate Baking Chips ¾ cup heavy cream Pinch of salt Whole strawberries, dried apricots, clementine segments, apple slices, pineapple chunks, banana pieces, pound cake squares, for dipping
STEP 1 Coat a small slow cooker with the cooking spray. To slow cooker, add the chocolate chips, heavy cream, and salt. Cover and cook on high 30–45 min., or until fully melted, stirring every 10 min. STEP 2 Serve the fruit and cake as dippers, leaving slow cooker on “keep warm” function for up to 1 hour, stirring occasionally.
TIP Just before serving, stir in 1 tbsp Bailey’s Irish Cream or Grand Marnier for an extra kick.
