MASHED POTATO FUDGE PREP TIME 10 MIN. – COOK TIME 5 MIN. – READY IN 15 MIN. + CHILLING TIME – SERVINGS 8


1 stick (½ cup) unsalted butter, cut into pieces


½ cup bittersweet chocolate chips 2 tbsp chocolate hazelnut spread


½ cup prepared mashed potatoes 1 tsp vanilla extract


1 (1 lb) box confectioners’ sugar 1 cup chopped walnuts


STEP 1 To a medium heatproof bowl, add butter, chocolate chips, and chocolate hazelnut spread. Set bowl over a saucepan of simmering water (do not let bottom of bowl touch water). Cook until melted and well combined, stirring occasionally. Remove bowl from pan and let cool slightly. STEP 2 Stir in mashed potatoes, vanilla extract, sugar, and walnuts until a smooth dough forms. Transfer mixture to a foil-lined 8x8-inch baking dish and spread in even layer. Refrigerate at least 1 hour until firm before cutting into squares.
