NEW PRODUCT CELEBRATES 40 YEARS IN THE
INDUSTRY Morclean Ltd is celebrating 40 years trading in the cleaning industry, and to commemorate the anniversary they have launched their new machine, the BinWash 40.
Originally established in 1977 as a supplier of pressure washers, the business now supplies a wide range of cleaning equipment throughout the UK, with dealer bases in Europe and the US.
Morclean’s range of equipment now includes high pressure cleaners, floorcare equipment, specialist vacuums, hazardous and ATEX equipment, a unique range of niche products that include water recovery and filtration, wash pads, and flagship machine the Morclean BinWash. The existing bin wash range includes the ever-popular Custom, the entry level Daily, and new to the range for 2017 is the multi-use hot water XL.

SUPER-SIZED TILE
CARE In response to the latest tile trends, FILA has introduced a new recommended care solution for large and extra-large format porcelain and ceramics. The new programme includes FILA products for a surface Builder’s Clean – and for cleaning of the tile back, to remove possible suction cup marks – as well as treatments for ongoing maintenance.
The new programme, which ensures a pristine installation and easy ongoing maintenance, is carried out using DETERDEK and/or FILACR10; FILAPS87 and FILACLEANER. DETERDEK is a safe and fumeless acid solution that’s free from hydrochloric acid; it removes cementitious deposits and building site dirt. As well as cleaning the face of the tile after grouting, FILA also

at Morclean we’ve experienced many challenges, but throughout this period we’ve had a great team and have really enjoyed some good times and many achievements.
“The most important factor, especially during the last 15 years, has been R&D in niche products. We now produce unique solutions for water recovery and filtration and have established ourselves as a specialist in the industry.”
The Custom 40 now features eight stages of water treatment. It still utilises the heavy duty galvanised
trailer and the tried and tested stage filter system, along with the unique impregnated silver filter, which inhibits the growth of bacteria in the main water tanks. In addition, two extra stages of water filtration complement the established range of trailer- mounted bin wash machines.
Peter added: “Our range of bin washing machines has been an important step forward for the business. And we’re not stopping there – with much more in development as we speak.”

recommends using DETERDEK to pre-clean the back of the tile before installation, to remove impurities and ensure good adhesion.
After installation, DETERDEK is used to remove adhesive and cementitious grout residues or FILACR10 to safely and effectively remove epoxy residues, whilst FILAPS87 – an alkaline-based deep cleaner – removes possible marks left by suction cups.
For ongoing maintenance, concentrated FILACLEANER can be used diluted for a no-rinse clean or at a lower dilution for a deep clean. The pH-neutral detergent leaves no residue and does not contain a ‘maintainer’, which can attract dirt and make ongoing maintenance difficult. FILAPS87 can also be used for periodic cleans, to remove organic dirt, stubborn stains and wax.
