DON’T GO TOO FAST! A good result depends on an adequate amount of water

and chemical being applied to let the machine do its job. Check the water flow and measure any chemical being used precisely, alternatively use a chemical dosing system.

KEEP SQUEEGEES CLEAN Squeegee blades should be easily removed with no tools. Clip them off regularly and clean them under the tap.

DOUBLE SCRUB IF YOU HAVE TO If a high footfall area is particularly dirty just double

scrub. Good micro scrubber dryers should clean in forward and reverse mode.

KEEP THE UNIT CLEAN A clean machine used in the daytime gives a much

better impression than a dirty one. Keep the machine body, wheels, controls and any transparent lids clean. A clean machine will have less service issues.

CHECK DECK ADJUSTMENT A correctly adjusted deck will enable perfect traction

control and make the job much easier. A heavier machine will also ensure a good result so check the down pressure when specifying a manufacturer.

USE A DIAMOND PAD Using a diamond pad on a marble or terrazzo floor is

almost miraculous. Don’t be scared of it; there’s no going back once you have seen the results.

STORE AND CHARGE A good micro scrubber dryer will have an inbuilt battery

charger and will run up to 1.5 hours on a single charge. Get into the habit of plugging the machine into charge after each use. It should store neatly against a wall.

KEEP RECOVERY AND SOLUTION TANKS CLEAN Make sure both tanks are kept clean and fresh,

particularly the recovery tank which should be clear of any debris or chemical residue.
