CAPTURE THE MOMENT

WITH MODULYSS Modulyss has introduced brand new carpet tile designs, Pixel, Patchwork and Pattern, with a focus on rediscovering the past whilst also incorporating a new sleek and bold contemporary look.

Brand new for spring 2016, the three new modulyss carpet tiles designs can be used solo, or worked together to create striking themes.

The everlasting precision of Pixel in hues of grey, brown, blue and turquoise creates an instantly smart look, a timeless sense of elegance that opens a window to the past and defines an escape from relentless hustle and bustle. A gentle touch of vintage charm found in floral and damask accents runs through Patchwork, forging a relaxing and welcoming atmosphere that reveals

a new story in every room. Bold and vibrant, Pattern is the future now, a design that matches Patchwork and Pixel with complete perfection and stands timeless and elegant in its own right.

Vanessa Van Overmeeren, Product Development Manager at modulyss, said: “Capturing our moment in the present is about celebrating the past and welcoming the change of the future.

“With Pixel, Patchwork and Pattern we’ve turned this sense of a place in time into thoroughly usable carpet tile designs. It was important that each design could stand on its own, creating a beautiful floor in its own right, but also work together for designers to create a signature of their very own and reveal the project’s moment in time.”

POLYFLOR ADDS CONTEMPORARY

EDGE TO ARTS CENTRE High design Expona luxury vinyl tiles from Polyflor, UK commercial and residential vinyl flooring specialist, were recently installed at 20-21 Visual Arts Centre in Scunthorpe to give the café area a modern new look as part of a renovation project.

Situated in a Grade II* listed former church, 20-21 Visual Arts Centre is a leading visitor attraction in Scunthorpe town centre run by North Lincolnshire Council, which features five gallery spaces showing a range of contemporary art, design and crafts, as well as hosting workshops for adults and children.

Polyflor’s Expona Design PUR luxury vinyl tiles in the abstract Light Contour design were installed by Direct Carpets flooring contractors of Scunthorpe in the centre’s popular café.

The metallic and monochrome Light Contour design from the Effects collection within the Expona Design PUR range is an eye-catching alternative to more traditional wood and stone designs, featuring a striking linear surface texture. The Expona Design range includes 28 stunning flooring designs specially developed to withstand the demands of heavy commercial environments such as leisure centres and tourist attractions where a high level of footfall is expected.

Durable Expona Design luxury vinyl tiles are further enhanced with PUR, Polyflor’s exclusive and robust polyurethane reinforcement which is cross linked and UV cured to provide a fuss-free cleaning and maintenance regime, making this product ideal for a café environment.

Lynne Emeny, Visual Arts Officer at 20-21 Visual Arts Centre, commented: “We wanted a modern and contemporary floor design for our refurbished café area that would fit in with the aesthetic style of our arts centre, but would also be a hard wearing and easy to clean floorcovering that would look good for years to come. We’re delighted with the finished look of our new space.”

Polyflor’s experienced in-house design service can help customers create a bespoke floorcovering featuring their own creative artwork. Using waterjet cutting technology, Polyflor’s talented team can produce intricate logos, motifs and designs from hundreds of high performance vinyl flooring products, including Expona luxury vinyl tiles.
