significantly in recent years, allowing for expansion and a recent move to new premises. Here we discover more about the company, its background and values.
Established in 2013, Preptec Equipment Services supply a wide range of surface preparation related products and services to many sectors including the flooring, refurbishment and construction industries.
From mixing equipment to planers and grinders, Preptec offers a variety of both new and used products and the company’s wealth of expert knowledge ensures that customers are well informed about what they are purchasing, therefore providing a high standard of customer service.
Following a successful first two years, the company have recently relocated to new purpose-built premises with a showroom and trade counter, additional offices, improved workshop facilities, increased storage facilities and a demonstration area.
Paul Mansfield, Company Director, commented: “We have had a very busy first two years working hard to establish the business.
“We have now built up a good base of customers who use us on a regular basis. Moving into our third year, the time was right to purchase our own premises, allowing us to invest in the changes needed to move the business forward.
“Our improved facilities allow us to provide a better service and showcase what we have to offer when customers visit.”
Preptec has recently focused on establishing stronger relationships with suppliers and bringing new equipment to the market.
The company has been awarded the UK distributorship for Impacts shot blasting equipment, allowing them to offer another new range of equipment to customers, and has gained good feedback so far.

“We have seen good growth in many areas of our business, including the supply of new equipment, spare parts, consumables and our range of specialist diamond tooling. The internet has opened up the market for new business and, with daily enquiries from the UK and overseas, we are looking forward to the future with optimism as we provide an important service to a growing and valued customer base,” Paul continued.
